Jaishree is a South Indian film actress who is currently a software engineer.
Born in Chennai, August 10, 1986, is married and now makes her home in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband Kris Chandrasekar and two sons.Jaishree was discovered in the Tamil film "Thendraley Ennai Thodu", directed by veteran Director Sridhar, opposite Mohan. The film was a runaway box office hit and is still known for the lilting songs by Ilayaraja.
A string of successful movies followed, among them "Manidanin Marupakkam", "Vidinja Kalyanam", "Thirumadhi Oru Vegumathy" and "Thali Dhanam".She proceeded to act in Tollywood, where she debuted as heroine in "Premayanam" also directed by Sridhar.
Her first Malayalam movie as a heroine was"Veendum" with Mammootty directed by Joshi.
Jaishree works for a large well known software company. She also continues to be involved in stage productions and helps organizing charity events and also releasing Tamil language films in the US.
Currently Jaishree is back in the news with her stellar performance hosting a wildly popular television game show called "Thiruvalar Thirumathi" on Sun TV (Prime Time).She comes from a highly cultured art and film family...
