Sushmita started her film career in Mahesh Bhatt production, Dastak, the failure of movie Dastak again she act in Zor opposite of Sunny Deol this movie also failed to lift her sagging graph and her spirits. She needed a hit to reincarnate herself. When she signed her movie Biwi No.1 as a supporitng role with Karishma Kapoor in this year movie was the biggest hit she also won the award for Best Actress in Supporting Role.
in 1994 she again performed in movie ,"Sirf Tum" as a supporting actress opposite of Sanjay Kapoor, in this year Sanjay Kapoor and Sushmita Sen this movie was hug hit in Bollywood Cinema, every one knows Sushmita in this film her picturized song "Dil Bar Dil Bar" called her item girl. Sushmita also work the same in her movie Fiza, her popular song was "Mehboob Mere Mehboob Mere" that was super hit, Sushmit's blockbuster movie opposite of Shahrukh Khan,"Mein Hoon Na" in this year movie was big hit in Cinema.
Her other movies are Aaghaz, Kyo kii.. Main Jhuth Nahi Bolta, Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai, Tum Ko Na Bhool Paynenge and Megha Gulzar's Filhal.
